Stefan Stanković — From the Professional Court to Developing the Next Generation
Stefan Stanković is a former professional basketball player and the founder and head coach of Dream Star Basketball Academy in Sagamihara, Japan. Drawing on his playing experience and Serbian basketball background, he now focuses on developing young players through Dream Star Academy and individual and small-group training through Stankovic Skill Lab.

A playing career that shaped his coaching.
Stefan began his basketball journey at KK Grocka in Belgrade before continuing his development with KK Partizan. During his playing career in Serbia, he also competed for KK Radnicki Obrenovac and represented Serbia at youth national-team level.
Those years inside Serbian basketball shaped the way he now approaches player development — with an emphasis on fundamentals, discipline, decision-making and individual improvement.
